As foreseen by the Action D.2 (Networking), LIFE SEPOSSO collaborated with the “European Researchers’ Night” which was held on Friday 27th November in Italy and throughout Europe. The events, which took place exclusively online due to the COVID-19 emergency, were realized by the project ScieNcEToghether – NET, a European Researchers’ Night project funded by the European Commission within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions (GA955459) .
During the week between 23-27 November, researchers from various Research Institutes (including ISPRA, ENEA, CNR, INAF, INGV) and Universities (La Sapienza, Tor Vergata, La Tuscia) included in the ScieNcEToghether – NET netwok, entertained citizens and young people with live Facebook, talks, virtual tours of the workshops, the digital treasure hunt “Let’s save PiaNETa!”.
A space dedicated to Posidonia oceanica(https://youtu.be/LeBdd-jJT6U) and to the animated comic of Posi and Donia (https://youtu.be/CNjV2wn7baw)was set up within the ISPRA Laboratories Virtual tour (http://www.teravista.it/ispra/), to explain to citizens its importance for the balance of our planet. SEPOSSO project contributed also to with.
Life SEPOSSO project contributed also in the schools section of the ScienzaInsieme website (https://www.scienzainsieme.it/net-per-le-scuole) with a space dedicated to the products created by LIFE SEPOSSO for children (https://www.scienzainsieme.it/alla-scoperta-delle-prateria-di-posidonia-oceanica), or the Didactic Kit and the video-comics of Posi and Donia in Italian and English.
