The progress of the LIFE SEPOSSO project was presented in the context of the final conference of the European LIFE SERESTO project, held in Rome, c / o Circolo sott-officer Marina Militare, on 11 April 2018.

In addition to advances in the path of realization of the project objectives, the products made so far have been presented. Finally, the new spot for the awareness campaign aimed at safeguarding Posidonia oceanica meadows was presented (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT06ij-elYw).

Among the guests and partners of the LIFE SERESTO project, Prof. Mike Elliott (Institute of Estuarine & Coastal Studies, University of Hull, UK) expressed his interest in the progress of the SEPOSSO project, finding interesting insights into the analysis of Governance and regulations for the management of the coastal marine environment. Also Marieke M. van Katwijk, an expert in seagrass transplants, was very interested in sharing information on transplants of P. oceanica, currently not available as highlighted in a recent scientific rewiew.
