Life SEPOSSO participated with its stand at the Researchers’ Night event – Friday 28th September 2018, 18:00 – 23:00 at the Botanical Garden of the University of Palermo, Via Lincoln 2, Palermo.
Life SEPOSSO partners from the Department of Earth and Sea Sciences (DISTeM), Prof. Sebastiano Calvo and Dr. Agostino Tommasello, met with citizens during the European Researchers’ Night. At a stand, set up with information material, films and biological preparations, the researchers explained to visitors the research activities carried out at the DISTeM, and in particular the work carried out in the marine environment within the Life SEPOSSO project.
The night meeting was organized to allow citizens to approach the Research world and to promote Science with numerous activities designed for children, families and schools. The possibility for the audience to talk to the researchers allowed to disseminate information, news, videos on the main activities carried out at the service of citizens and the environment.
