We keep carrying on dissemination activities in our study sites (Action D.1). <\/span>Life SEPOSSO arrives in Augusta, where on Wednesday 11th July we met with the kids of the Augusta Sports Center, Via Fratelli Grimm – Augusta (SR).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a playful meeting, the researchers Barbara La Porta (ISPRA) and Fabio Badalamenti (CNR-IAMC) told what are\u00a0 Posidonia oceanica<\/em> meadows, and with the support of short educational films explained their importance in the marine environment . <\/span>The setting up of a small marine biology laboratory<\/strong> allowed the children to observe live the plant and the organisms that live between its rhizomes and leaves. <\/span>With the stories of Posi and Donia<\/strong> (the mascots of Life SEPOSSO), narrated in the comic book “Discovering the Posidonia oceanica<\/em> meadows”,\u00a0 we discovered together the hidden world of little creatures populating this grassy habitat.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day ended with the distribution of gadgets for the boys (frisbee in biodegradable coloring material, comics, key rings) and with group games to learn to know and respect the wonders of the sea while having fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
